These were taken on the ski hill. The left is Aya and her cousin, Noriko (4 years old). The right is my brother and Aya coming down on a toboggan.

On the way home from the hot spring resort, there was an interesting art museum full of art works with optical illusion.

On the New Year's Day, we decided to be real Japanese and visit a shrine to pray for a good year. Here we are coming out of the shrine in a cold blustery wind.
